Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse Replacement Dongle

  1. Oct 27, 2016  Thank you. A shame to throw away a perfectly good keyboard and mouse. I thought I read somewhere that Logitech was able to provide a replacement transceiver but of course not Microsoft. The transceiver got broken when the laptop slipped off the couch and landed on that side of the laptop where the transceiver was inserted.
  2. I bought the Microsoft Designer Keyboard and mouse without doing any research. I just had a shocking blow that bluetooth dongle wasn't included with it. Now I know I need a Bluetooth 4.0 dongle to connect them but before I buy one, I want to confirm if it will connect both the keyboard and mouse.

Feb 27, 2019  Connect a device using a Microsoft Bluetooth transceiver with First Connect. Some Bluetooth device models include transceivers with buttons on them to make it easier to pair the device to the computer. Plug the Microsoft Bluetooth transceiver into a USB port. Press and hold the Connect button on the USB transceiver for five seconds.

The receiver only works specifically on that keyboard and mouse combo. Getting the receiver replaced might not be possible. Check with our Microsoft Store support team regarding your concern. Use this article.

I have same problem, but the dongle stop work. I use the keyboard with very carefully and I want from Microsoft more quality. This keyboard is very expecive in my country. How can I get a replacement dongle?

Hi. This page support internacional customers? I am from Brazil and my keyboard is out off guarantee. But it's work fine except of dongle. Its not fair to replace entirely working pack , one because a dongle.

The call centres at the end of those numbers are a joke. The numbers on that page seem to route to the same **** call centre with no decent bandwidth available to them.

Operators are unable to be understood; this is only referring to call quality before even considering other factors.

We are a reseller of Microsoft products here in Norway. Not even as a reseller we have access to a good supportline.

I find it totally unacceptable that Microsoft should be able to sell keyboards they can not support with spare parts. Microsoft, get your sh*t together. Support line was of no help! Incompetent and no service!

Buy Logitech products from now on. Easy to get a spare USB unifed receiver.

Unfortunately so far I have not been able to solve the problem, I am trying to solder the dongle board, I recently bought a logitech mouse, it supports usb and a universal usb receiver, I believe that from now on I only opt for logitech products
