Took someones advice on the internet about meddling with my computers techy stuff.
Took someone elses advice from a website I have no idea whether is safe or not
Which sent me to someone elses website where you copy and paste a bunch of unfamiliar code.
Then you make your own file and when you run it it says it's 'made by Microsoft Corporation' when really I just made it right then and 'can it have privileged access?'
I let it do what it wanted, it made an unknown number of changes to my computer, and fortunately seems to have worked ok with no immediate side effects. Bit risky! Imagine wanting WPV on a work machine.Heavens.
